IoT Point Of Presence Gateways

Netshield developed and manufactures a range of ethernet wired or wireless intelligent gateways (Linux OS) as part of the hardware building blocks for an IoT solution.

Customers looking to remotely manage infrastructure, sensitive equipment, energy and water distribution or respond accurately to environmental threats such as fires and even flooding, can now do so at scale and across multiple sites with a Point of Presence Convergence gateway. When multiple instances of the devices are deployed, they can create a full view of events and even help to ensure the even distribution of services such as power and water in a multi-site environment.

Environmental Controllers

For the datacentre environment we have our EV PoP SNMP/IoT/Cloud monitoring gateways with the following capabilities;

  • Monitor of environmental conditions including temperature, humidity, flooding, gas & smoke
  • Monitor and control of multiple door access to environments such as server rooms, high sights and buildings, identifying users through both the connected access controllers and integrated video cameras and allowing access by referring to local or remote access controlled databases.
  • Control and manage the duty/time cycles of two or more air-conditioners.
  • Monitor and control of the power system including surge protection elements, UPSs, generators and energy metering devices .
  • Monitors smoke and heat sensors and control solid-state fire extinguishers

IOT WiFi Multi Sensor - Wireless Gateway

Customers looking to dramatically simplify the installation process of IoT (Internet of Things) sensors, can now take advantage of Netshield’s WIFI IOT Multi Sensor and IO modules. These devices are the perfect accompaniment to IoT environments where power and cost may be an issue, enabling customers to monitor the environmental factors of their business environment all via the cloud.

The WIFI IOT Multi Sensor and IO modules have their own battery and as a result do not need either a power source or a wired connection to operate. With its own built in Wi-Fi interface, you can string sensors onto the device, which can then leverage the Wi-Fi connection to send data gathered from the sensors back into your environment.
